About The Position

Plastipak is hiring a Manufacturing Production Associate to operate manufacturing equipment that produces plastic packaging. The position offers predictable 12-hour shifts, every other weekend off, structured training, mentorship, and opportunities to develop through on-the-job learning and Plastipak Academy courses. Sunday shifts are paid at double time. Starting pay is up to $25, depending on experience, including base pay, night-shift premium, and Sunday double pay.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with hands and solve mechanical problems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with extrusion or blow-molding equipment is a plus, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines to keep production moving smoothly.
• Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling, and pressure as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Check product quality to ensure it meets customer standards.
• Work with the shift team to solve problems and improve processes.
• Participate in on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses.
