Manufacturing Process Engineer II

Nikkiso Cryogenic Industries•North Las Vegas, NV

About The Position

The Manufacturing Process Engineer II owns the assembly methods and manufacturing documentation used to build pumps and provides technical oversight on the shop floor. The role translates engineering drawings and practical pump knowledge into clear work instructions, controlled build records, and defined hold points. Working closely with Project, Quality, Design Engineering, and the Test Engineer, this person supports assigned builds from preparation through assembly and test readiness. The role develops and maintains assembly procedures, work instructions, build travelers, checklists, and inspection records in the controlled document system. It supports critical assembly operations, helps ensure approvals and traceable records are in place, trains assemblers, coordinates resolution of unclear or unmet requirements, and works with the Test Engineer on readiness and build-related findings. The position also supports approved improvements to tooling, assembly sequences, and work methods, while following applicable cleanliness and handling procedures for cryogenic and oxygen-service builds. The job is generally performed in an office environment, but may involve work in production or at client offices or industrial/construction job sites. Travel to customer sites may be requested by Engineering. The employee may need to work overtime, including weekdays, weekends, nights, or holidays, as workload dictates. A valid driver’s license and clean driving history are required for travel between company facilities and client offices. Required PPE is provided by Nikkiso and must be worn when needed.
