About The Position

Crane Currency is hiring Manufacturing Operators and Press Machine Operators at its Nashua, New Hampshire facility, which manufactures security features used in U.S. currency and banknotes worldwide. Depending on the position and experience, operators set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment and inspect materials and finished products to maintain quality standards. Paid training is available, and no experience is required for select Manufacturing Operator openings. Some positions may begin through a staffing partner while Public Trust clearance is completed; after clearance, training, and successful performance, individuals may be considered for permanent employment with Crane Currency.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliability, a safety-focused approach, teamwork, and strong attention to detail.
Basic computer skills and the ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards.
U.S. citizenship and the ability to meet Public Trust requirements.
Press Operator candidates should have mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and experience with presses, printing, converting, CNC, extrusion, or similar industrial equipment.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience is helpful but is not required for select Manufacturing Operator openings.
Experience with presses, printing, converting, CNC, extrusion, or similar industrial equipment for Press Operator candidates.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, presses, coaters, slitters, converting equipment, and other production machinery.
Inspect materials and finished products, identify defects, document production data, and maintain quality standards.
Follow safety procedures and standardized work instructions while helping the team meet production goals.
Cross-train on specialized equipment and high-security manufacturing processes.
