Manufacturing Plant Technician
About The Position
The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) is an American multinational consumer goods company serving consumers globally with a strong portfolio of trusted brands. The P&G Tabler Station Plant is a new facility. Plant Technicians are vital to the success of P&G's business, responsible for keeping production flowing, meeting performance goals, and maintaining high product quality. The role is entry-level with opportunities for advancement by demonstrating operating, maintenance, and leadership skills, with potential to expand into electrical, quality assurance, safety, and hygiene. Technicians will work on high-speed converting and packing equipment, control processes from a computer terminal, and perform preventive maintenance. Meaningful work begins on Day 1, with involvement in impacting situations and influencing business-related problems.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)
- Ability to display/willingness to learn skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining and cleaning automated equipment
- Display strong technical, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms; twist, turn and bend
- Stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time
Responsibilities
