About The Position
Responsible for working closely with contact administrators and engineering personnel to design a reliable, yet, cost efficient manufacturing processes to meet customer final product requirements by performing the following duties.
Requirements
- Must be able to read customer provided drawing
- Proficient in use of MRP system
- Knowledgeable in various manufacturing processes
- Capable of readings portable measuring equipment
- Eye and hearing protection may be necessary while working on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and develops planning from customer requirements.
- Establishes Product Configuration Control Information (PCCI).
- Creates Bill of Material (BOM) for each individual product.
- Plans sequence of manufacturing processes.
- Identifies planned operation support requirements.
- Maintains and/or upkeeps planning database.
- Reviews customer change notifications and updates accordingly.
- Produces accurate and detailed working instructions to achieve efficient process flow.
- Participates in the improvement process by documenting process changes in planning.
- Proposes feasible solutions for future overall process improvements.
