About The Position

PL Developments (PLD), a manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support daily processing operations. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing equipment to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and in accordance with batch record specifications. The operator maintains accurate documentation, performs routine troubleshooting, ensures product quality, and upholds cleanliness and safety standards.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The position is performed in a manufacturing environment where noise levels range from moderate to loud depending on machinery use. Work may require respirator use, and employees may be subject to a Pulmonary Function Test to determine eligibility for respirator fit testing. The starting hourly rate is $18.00.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Record-keeping and basic math skills.
• Ability to use different units of measurement, including weight, size, and volume.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report process or equipment problems to a supervisor and perform general troubleshooting.
• Keep batch records, equipment logbooks, and other relevant records current, and perform batch record reconciliation.
• Set up and operate equipment for processing operations.
• Clean and maintain processing rooms and equipment.
• Monitor processes and equipment and make necessary adjustments to maintain batch record specifications.
• Monitor product quality.
• Follow department SOPs and batch record instructions, and assist with SOP and batch record revisions.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
