This role is for a 1st Shift Operator in Kalamazoo, responsible for running equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS).
• Ability to provide clear documentation and complete appropriate paperwork.
• English language fluency required, including ability to speak, read, and write without assistance.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, logging in/out, screen and program navigation.
• Working mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division).

Responsibilities

• Operation, inspection, and packaging of finished goods, including visual quality checks for defects (fill levels, packaging, etc.).
• Accurate completion of production operations work orders.
• Performing equipment set-up and changeovers, basic preventative maintenance, and cleaning of equipment, work area, and facility while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Applying Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles in all areas of responsibility.
• Participating in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), 5S, and other continuous improvement and lean projects.
• Complying with safety and regulatory regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Exercising proper lifting, bending, and twisting techniques.
