Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Highly motivated
- Strong time management and priorities management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate with knowledge of Excel.
- BPCS experience a plus.
- Ability to interact with vendors and internal customers
- Metrics driven
Responsibilities
- Set-up and change over production machinery including die set-up and material changes.
- Continuous operation of machinery to eliminate any unnecessary downtime.
- Operate all presses and/or CDCH coating operations consisting of prep, coating, sheet separating and de-framing of gaskets while also maintaining rate that is part specific.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure each machine is stocked with material throughout the shift.
- Assist tooling personnel in correcting any potential issues with a die.
- Provide light maintenance on machines or a die including by not limited to oiling and greasing.
- Complete all paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and timely.
- Assist in general housekeeping of the department.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
- Performs other duties or special projects as or as assigned.
