Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in manufacturing environment required.
  • Demonstrated ability to train new hires on processes & technical requirements (SOPs) required.
  • Ability to read, write & understand complicated product documentation & standard operating procedures with attention to detail required.
  • Computer literacy including use of Microsoft Office suite programs required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree or BioWorks Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in pharmaceutical solid dose manufacturing or other FDA regulated industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing equipment troubleshooting, including restoration of lost function maintenance preferred.
  • Proven expertise in planning/organizing, managing execution, checking results & revising the work plan in accordance with the daily work plan a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing equipment to achieve production goals.
  • Support training for junior team members & demonstrate subject matter expertise in assigned area.
  • Setup, operate, monitor & control equipment, systems & processes.
  • Clean & sanitize manufacturing, filling & packaging rooms & equipment per SOPs.
  • Execute production schedule to achieve production goals.
  • Perform machine changeovers as needed.
  • Handle labeling & components correctly; transferring, counting, FIFO, returns, etc.
  • Actively participate in & support event response.
  • Review & author SOPs, job instructions & other documents as required.
  • Identify, report & resolve quality issues.
  • Execute &/or assist during equipment maintenance, including restoration of lost function, predictive & preventative maintenance.
  • Train fellow employees in areas of expertise & aggressively learn systems & equipment outside of own area of expertise.
  • Record/review production data in BPR & associated forms.
  • Participate in process improvement projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
