About The Position

The Manufacturing Operator I performs a variety of tasks that support manufacturing operations in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. This role is responsible for executing defined production processes, performing equipment setup and basic maintenance, and ensuring high‑quality output through careful inspection and adherence to established procedures. The position plays a critical role in maintaining smooth production flow and supporting continuous improvement of products and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing activities including assembly, testing, inspection, and basic troubleshooting according to documented procedures.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, process flows, and safety guidelines to ensure consistent and high‑quality production.
  • Conduct equipment setup, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
  • Escalate equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain throughput.
  • Collect and record operating data to ensure proper process control.
  • Make on‑line equipment or process adjustments within defined limits to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to support tests, experiments, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide input to improve work methods, documentation, and efficiency.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new technicians or operators as assigned.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
