Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The Experimental Service Group (ESG) supports a variety of government customers spanning technology domains and is a fast-paced, responsive development environment delivering new capabilities to customers rapidly and affordably. The ESG portfolio consists of a range of platforms and technologies that includes the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV). The X-37B OTV is the United States’ most advanced, state-of-the-art reentry space craft. BDS is one of the world's largest defense, space and security businesses specializing in innovative and capabilities-driven customer solutions, and the world's largest and most versatile producer of military aircraft and commercial/civil/government space systems.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- More than 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
- More than 1 year of experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
- Ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.
- Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
- Analyzes and interprets data
- Provides feedback on assessment results
- Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes
- Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
- Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers
- Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
- Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives
