About The Position

Manufacturing Operations Analyst Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join the Compliance Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable Shift. Assist with activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent issues in support of specific operations. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Provides limited feedback on assessment results. Support the organization to implement strategies and plans. Works under general supervision. Position Responsibilities: Assist with activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent issues supporting specific operations Conduct assessments of processes and practices against applicable standards and criteria Provide limited feedback on assessment results Support the organization in implementing strategies and plans Partner with 787 Manufacturing Safety Team members as needed Facilitate compliance-related BPSMs and RSPSs for assigned areas Facilitate assessments using the PASA system Understand relevant policies, processes, procedures, BPS criteria, and expectations Compile and report compliance assessments using EPES and program standard processes Support Focal meetings (e.g., 5S Steering Team, Tool Management Steering Team) through facilitation or attendance Support emergent compliance projects as requested by leadership Analyze and interpret data; provide feedback on assessment results Work with organizations to develop strategies, plans, and metrics using Lean methodologies or other tools Independently compile the QMR deck Administer EPES Support the 787 Program 5S plan, including attending as a Non-Advocate at least once annually Maintain Sweep process and relevant files Maintain team Standard Work Document

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience with lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
  • 1+ years of experience with conducting data and trend analysis
  • 1+ years of experience with regulatory requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: Lean/Six Sigma, AS9100, or relevant quality/compliance certifications
  • Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, defense, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, etc.) is a plus
  • Previous experience leading teams
  • 3+ years of business operations experience
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator; skilled at coaching frontline teams
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems, or fulfillment tooling
  • Familiarity with audit management systems and quality management systems (QMS)

Responsibilities

  • Support the organization in implementing strategies and plans
  • Partner with 787 Manufacturing Safety Team members as needed

  • Understand relevant policies, processes, procedures, BPS criteria, and expectations
  • Compile and report compliance assessments using EPES and program standard processes
