About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager to support the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) Operations team in San Antonio, TX! This role involves leading, developing, and motivating employees, managing diverse manufacturing disciplines, and contributing to departmental strategies. The position also includes acquiring resources, managing suppliers, driving process improvements, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment
Ability to work any shift including weekends and overtime

Nice To Haves

Experience in leading large scale / organizational change
Boeing Problem Solving Model Experience
3+ years of experience in leadership, leading teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change
3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
