The Manufacturing Engineering Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing equipment used in assembly processes. This role ensures maximum uptime, quality, and throughput of production lines by performing preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and process monitoring. The technician will perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on equipment, diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related equipment issues to minimize downtime, and maintain accurate PM records and equipment logs. They will also work with Manufacturing Engineers to improve equipment performance, yield, and cycle time, assist in root-cause analysis for quality defects related to processes, and suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Furthermore, the role involves ensuring processes meet internal quality standards, maintaining ESD compliance, ensuring equipment is properly calibrated, and following all safety, quality, and production policies. The technician is also responsible for updating equipment records and maintenance logs, maintaining calibration and repair history, and providing feedback to engineering on program performance and process issues.
