About The Position

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide range of technical skills including knowledge of manufacturing automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, welding and HVAC. The role requires the ability to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools, and comfort in a manufacturing environment. Safe work practices and knowledge of OSHA standards are essential. The position also requires the ability to work overtime, including weekends, when required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of energy and motivation.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Able to work with various individuals in a workplace that values diversity.
  • Must be forklift trained or willing to learn.
  • Must possess safe work practices and be knowledgeable of OSHA related standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications or coursework in manufacturing automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, welding and HVAC.
  • Experience with plastic injection presses by Engel and Arburg.
  • Related technical coursework is preferable.
  • 3-5 years of production Maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair activities for a variety of auxiliary support equipment.
  • Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
  • Work overtime, including weekends, when required.
