About The Position

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide range of technical skills including knowledge of manufacturing automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, welding and HVAC. The role requires the ability to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools, and comfort in a manufacturing environment. Safe work practices and knowledge of OSHA standards are essential. The position also requires the ability to work overtime, including weekends, when required.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to demonstrate a high level of energy and motivation.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Able to work with various individuals in a workplace that values diversity.
Must be forklift trained or willing to learn.
Must possess safe work practices and be knowledgeable of OSHA related standards.

Nice To Haves

Certifications or coursework in manufacturing automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, welding and HVAC.
Experience with plastic injection presses by Engel and Arburg.
Related technical coursework is preferable.
3-5 years of production Maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair activities for a variety of auxiliary support equipment.
Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
Work overtime, including weekends, when required.
