Manufacturing Machinery Maintenance Technician-2nd and 3rd Shift
About The Position
JTM Foods, LLC is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to maintain and repair manufacturing and packaging equipment at its Erie, Pennsylvania facility. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems; performing preventive maintenance; responding to breakdowns; and installing, modifying, and improving production equipment. The technician works with production and maintenance teams to keep operations reliable, safe, and running efficiently. Candidates with strong hands-on technical skills and less experience are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Experience maintaining or repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Five or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred; candidates with strong hands-on technical skills and less experience are encouraged to apply.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with PLCs, motors, conveyors, and automated equipment.
- Five or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls, motors, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to keep production moving.
- Install, modify, and improve machinery and production equipment.
- Work with production and maintenance teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and reliable manufacturing environment.
