About The Position

The purpose of the First Line Leader role is to develop and lead a team of operators to consistently deliver outstanding safety, quality and service. The role has a direct impact on the Haleon strategy and goals. It is a key role in ensuring that the business strategy is delivered through an engaged, motivated and capable team. This role will ensure our site has highest standard in Environment, Health, Safety and Wellness (EHSW) and Quality.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical area (Preferred)
  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent with a combination of 5 years of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of cGMP requirements and experience working in an FDA regulated environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to promote collaborative teamwork.
  • Ability to conduct training sessions in a classroom or production floor environment.
  • Practical experience with Quality initiatives including but not limited to: executing validation protocols, deviation reports, root cause analysis, and change control.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overside and leadership of a team working within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) production environment.
  • Fostering an environment that ensures adherence to standards for safety, quality, compliance and output.
  • Continuously improve the capability of the team.
  • Engaging and inspiring staff to understand the value they add by performing their responsibilities.
  • Ensuring development plans are undertaken on a regular basis by using the Haleon approach.
  • Sets expectations on behavior and performance by proving regular feedback.
  • Identifying key talent and capabilities and apply to talent planning.
  • Responsible for performance management.
  • Review resources of area, including task assignment, and facilitation in the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Role modeling the expected behaviors and standards for all staff.
  • Setting target conditions, and delivering against this, to achieve improvements in performance.
  • Real time issue identification and resolution involving staff.
  • Drives problem solving process with staff and support functions.
  • Understand the budget for the area.
  • Ensuring adoption and adherence to the Leader Standard Work
  • Maintains and interacts with Haleon systems (SAP, Pas-X, CH Pack, Workday).
