About The Position

Serves as an inventory expeditor/liaison to ensure that parts and materials called out on a Bill of Materials (BOM) arrive on the manufacturing line at the time they're needed, that they are properly transacted within the system/ERP and that in any instances where these two conditions are not fulfilled, they immediately identify the cause(s), implement immediate solution(s) and ensure that all stakeholders are consistently communicated with. The hours for this position is Monday - Thursday 4pm - 2:30am. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge and proficiency with current computer software, and related hardware.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, listen to, and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Ability to operate a conventional forklift.
  • Ability to operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions.
  • Ability to develop basic thinking and problem-solving skills to learn and understand Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process.
  • Ability to operate carts, tuggers, cart caddies, forklifts, and other devices daily.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
  • Reconciles parts and material lists with pick lists and bill of materials.
  • Identifies parts and material errors and collaborates to resolve.
  • Works with teammates to address and correct schedule delays.
  • Ensures that product data is kept current and new product data is updated.
  • Performs initial quality checks to validate that condition of materials meet specification.
  • Maintains and defines kitting processes and best practices for operations.
  • Coordinates daily work in progress to meet department goals through prioritization of work and appropriate scheduling resources.
  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics, production, and procurement teams daily.
  • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Performs other duties assigned.
