About The Position
Manufacturing Laboratory Technician We are looking for a Manufacturing Laboratory Technician to join our East Windsor team! As our Manufacturing Lab Tech, you will be responsible for quick turnaround on product samples before, during, and after thermal spray coatings are applied on metal parts.
Requirements
- 1-3 years’ lab experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience running tests in a fast paced environment
- Familiarity with measurement equipment (microscope, hardness tester, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Associate’s, Bachelors, or equivalent experience
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Motivated to learn
Nice To Haves
- IMR certification
- MetCut certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine test specimens to ensure consistency and conformity
- Conduct chemical, mechanical, and physical materials tests using equipment like microscopes, calipers, hardness testers, tension/compression machines
- Record detailed and accurate test data and measurements
- Maintain inspection tools, lab supplies, and personal protective equipment
- Working on multiple samples simultaneously
