About The Position

QA Manufacturing Lab Technician Entegris is currently seeking a QA Manufacturing Lab Technician to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, you support quality through sample preparation, testing execution and generation of reports for internal and external customers. This position will work closely with other departments as communication is critical to success.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
1-2 years of general lab experience or material quality experience desired.
Able to multi-task and communicate effectively (both oral and written).
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to climb ladders to perform test set-up activities.
Basic knowledge of UHP cleaning and handling techniques.
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of hand tool usage.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. during test set-up.
Be able to climb ladders to perform test set-up activities.

Responsibilities

Independently perform UHP (Ultra High-Purity) testing on gas purification systems from the manufacturing floor.
Calibrate scientific instrumentation and laboratory equipment in accordance with established procedures.
Communicate results through written reports and oral presentations.
Successfully apply principles, theories and concepts to specific job assignments/projects.
Demonstrate effective multitasking across diverse laboratory functions and duties.
Move sampling lines at various heights to different locations throughout the buildings for internal product testing, requiring the use of a ladder.
Collaborates cross-functionally to meet company targets.
Participate in site Continuous Improvement activities across safety, quality, and efficiency.
