About The Position

This 12-week Manufacturing Internship (Summer 2027) offers invaluable experience within P&G's state-of-the-art plants. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in an Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Industrial & Systems, Manufacturing, Operations Management).
  • Anticipated graduation date between Winter 2027 and Spring 2029 (rising Juniors/Seniors).
  • An eagerness to contribute to projects, learn about managing timelines, and drive results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex issues and contribute to technical solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to quickly embrace and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule and cost.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and eager to make a tangible impact.
  • Ability to complete a 12 week internship between May and August 2027.
  • Ability to relocate for the Summer 2027 internship and willingness to relocate throughout your career.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience (internships, academic projects) in manufacturing, process improvement, or automation.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), Lean/Six Sigma, or project management concepts.
  • Basic understanding of controls, automation, robotics, or industrial networks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or significantly contribute to projects focused on process optimization, loss elimination, and capability building.
  • Blend technical problem-solving with project execution support.
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve product designs, streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance product quality using data analytics (e.g., OEE, root cause analysis).
  • Support development of web-processing and equipment solutions, optimize packaging lines for efficiency, and assist with new equipment integration using tools like 3D modeling and mechatronics.
  • Support automation systems, industrial networks, and robotics integration, contributing to digital manufacturing solutions and troubleshooting control issues.
  • Contribute to capital projects and new initiatives (e.g., capacity expansion, automation, cost savings) from concept to execution, managing scope, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Support operational excellence by contributing to safety, quality, training, and digital solution adoption.
