Requirements

  • Active pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering at an accredited college/university
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate various activities simultaneously
  • Exceptional skill in using computer software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to meet constant deadlines
  • Flexible; quickly responds/adapts to change in an environment with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.

Nice To Haves

  • AutoCAD is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the implementation and support of new equipment or recently installed equipment within the Lititz facility assigned by the AME Director.
  • Focuses on manufacturing engineering for automated equipment and cells; including data collection, analysis and working with Engineers to implement solutions.
  • Emphasis on scrap reduction, OEE improvement and process documentation.
  • Regular attendance is required to maintain the functions of the job.
  • Ability to assemble work content, create, and publish process documentation as per Engineering standards and protocols.
  • Assist engineers and managers in their projects, as well as your own assigned projects, maintaining sharp focus on schedule, scope, and budget. Communicate/present project status at all times.
  • Work with all personnel in a pleasant and productive manner that contributes to the overall success of the plant.
  • Any other Industrial/MFG engineering functions as assigned by Manager.
  • Implement and document changeover processes on new equipment.
  • Work with Sr. Manufacturing Engineer; Identify, label and develop storage for all tools and machine components needed for changeover for all models of mesh panels.
  • Work with Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to document process for changeovers utilizing the storage system.
  • Implement 5S for manufacturing cell and document.
  • Identify, locate and mark on the shop floor what is essential to the cell and must be included, and where it should be located.
