In this role, your responsibilities will include conducting all job duties with safety as a priority and in compliance with safety rules. You will perform multiple forms of surface prep for cleaning and painting, segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions, and maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks. The goal is to produce quality parts/assemblies and eliminate the cost of non-conformance. You will also perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, and documents, aligning with all safety and work instructions. Maintaining clear communication within the department and adhering to departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and restocking as needed are essential. Additionally, you will work to reduce lead times and optimize the production cycle to conform to "make-to-order" and maintain competitive costs associated with the assembly, including labor, material, tooling, and inventory.
