About The Position

The Manufacturing Facility Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives. The role also frequently involves providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. Training is provided for candidates without security experience.

Requirements

• Driver certification.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification.
• A valid West Virginia driver’s license.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to complete patrols.
• Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
• Pass the required drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal security officer licensing requirements.
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; climb stairs; and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior security or customer service experience.
• Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.
