About The Position

The Manufacturing Facility Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by monitoring the premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, helps protect client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives relating to personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

The position requires weekend hours and involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Duties may also include climbing stairs and walking on inclines or uneven terrain, as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet applicable security licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Driver certification.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification.
• Valid West Virginia driver's license.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to complete patrols.
• Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal security officer or guard licensing requirements.
• Meet the physical demands of frequent sitting, standing, and walking; possible stair climbing and walking on inclines or uneven terrain; frequent lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds; and occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
