The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and supporting manufacturing equipment. This role involves diagnosing and resolving issues with manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes to minimize downtime and support production needs. The technician will collaborate with Engineers and Operations throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development to production implementation. Key duties include assisting in the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of tooling, fixtures, and production equipment, as well as creating and updating standard work instructions and process documentation. The position also involves supporting process validation, participating in continuous improvement projects, training production employees, and supporting production launches and engineering trials. The technician will collect and document information, communicate findings to relevant teams, and assist with CNC manufacturing support, with a willingness to learn CAD/CAM software. Adherence to safety policies and maintaining a clean work area are essential.
