About The Position
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician - III to join their team. The ideal candidate will support the Manufacturing Engineering group through coordinating and performing pre-production part build activities and equipment trials, and overseeing the prototype warehouse.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 5 years of technical work experience in assembly process in a manufacturing facility.
- Associate's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology

- Forward and signal lighting assembly practices
Responsibilities
- Participates in activities required to build prototype and pre-production sample parts.
- Assists with confirmation trials of assembly equipment.
- Provides technical support for equipment installation, set-up, and troubleshooting.
- Organizes and maintains an inventory of components and equipment needed for prototype builds.
- Prepares, summarizes, and reports trial data for manufacturing and engineering groups.
- Supervises and coordinates the work of hourly and temporary personnel in the prototype area.
