Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM EST Compensation: Hourly Location: 2910 Telecom Parkway Suite 200, Richardson, TX 75082 Note: New hires will work Mon-Fri, 8AM - 5PM, for training. After training is complete, new hires will work rotating 12-hour shifts. Night and day schedules are available. How will you make an impact? The Manufacturing Technician III is responsible for building and integrating advanced AI server rack systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Technician III will focus on assembling complete server rack systems from initial framework through final integration. This role supports the assembly of air-cooled and liquid-cooled server racks destined for large-scale data center deployments. Through your expertise in mechanical assembly, cabling, troubleshooting, and quality workmanship, you will help ensure reliable, high-performance products are delivered to customers on time.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in server hardware assembly, data center infrastructure, network cabling, manufacturing assembly, or a related technical environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, bills of materials, and technical documentation
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, measuring equipment, and assembly fixtures
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve assembly, fit, alignment, and installation issues
  • Understanding of cable routing, labeling, and installation best practices
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate manufacturing systems and software
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of up to 10-12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation; mechanical lifting devices and team lifts may be utilized as needed

  • Residential or commercial HVAC maintenance and repair experience
  • Data center hardware integration experience
  • AI server, GPU server, or high-performance computing system assembly experience
  • Fiber optic installation and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • IPC, CompTIA, electrical/mechanical assembly, or other relevant technical certifications
  • Technical certification, vocational training, or associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Build AI server racks from bare frame to fully assembled and cabled systems using detailed rack layouts and work instructions
  • Install rails, servers, GPU trays, network switches, and power distribution units utilizing appropriate lifting equipment when required
  • Route and connect power, management, and high-speed copper and fiber optic data cables according to cabling maps while maintaining organization and labeling standards
  • Install liquid-cooling components including manifolds, hoses, and quick-disconnect fittings, and support leak testing activities
  • Inspect, clean, and verify fiber optic connections prior to installation
  • Interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, bills of materials, and technical documentation to independently complete complex assemblies
  • Verify torque requirements, component alignment, critical dimensions, and workmanship standards throughout the assembly process
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related issues involving component fit, alignment, interfaces, and installation requirements
  • Support prototype, pilot, and new product introduction (NPI) builds as required
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Test teams to resolve technical and production issues
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, precision measuring devices, and lifting equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and manufacturing records
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and overall manufacturing excellence
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S principles
  • Perform other duties as assigned
