Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your manufacturing and industrial engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates. You'll shape and lead the Manufacturing Engineering team, driving innovation and excellence in industrialization processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Product Introduction Managers, Production, and Quality teams), define and implement industrialization standards and methodologies, and support the development of your team through training and skill-building initiatives, and much more.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering field
  • Experience in the rail industry (aerospace or automotive experience will also be considered)
  • Knowledge of Process Engineering, including writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for Bill of Materials, Routings, and Configuration follow-up
  • Previous experience in people and team management, including mentoring and skill development
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to drive team performance and support industrialization projects
  • Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics
  • Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools, such as CATIA or DELMIA
  • Experience with Process FMEA and QRQC methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Defining and updating function procedures, ways of working, and methodologies in alignment with central PME guidelines
  • Ensuring the team is adequately staffed based on project workloads (both firm and forecasted)
  • Building induction and training programs for new team members
  • Maintaining a skills matrix for the team and developing the annual training plan
  • Deploying industrialization standards such as Method Time, EHS, Ergonomics, and Work Instructions
  • Implementing industrialization methodologies, including ICONE, P-FMEA, Control Plans, QRQC, and Task Sequencing
  • Deploying and managing IS tools for industrialization, including PLM (DELMIA), ERP (GSI), and MES
  • Supporting the team in executing industrialization activities, such as P-FMEA, internal FAI, and ensuring the quality of deliverables like Work Instructions and Task Sequencing
  • Organizing and managing productivity actions to support production and address specific Method support needs.
