About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing engineering execution for AI server rack, L11 integration, and high-performance computing products. This role manages NPI process design, DFM/DFA, equipment/tooling, assembly SOPs, and production line readiness to ensure manufacturing readiness, process yield, equipment uptime, safety compliance, and a smooth transition from NPI to mass production. The ME Manager partners with Program Management, Production, Quality, Industrial Engineering, R&D, and customer-facing teams to support NPI ramp, mass production, and sustaining operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field required.
  • More than ten (10) years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or engineering management experience in electronics manufacturing or related industries, with at least three (3) years of people management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading NPI process design, DFM/DFA reviews, equipment/tooling readiness, SOP/MBOM development, and manufacturing KPI management.
  • Experience supporting NPI ramp, pilot builds, mass production, engineering changes, and customer commitments for AI server, rack integration, server assembly, high-performance computing, or complex electronic systems strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant training or certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Project Management (PMP), or related manufacturing/quality disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Manufacturing Engineering organization across NPI process design, DFM/DFA, equipment/tooling, and production line readiness to support NPI ramp, mass production, and sustaining operations for advanced L11 AI server racks.
  • Own NPI process design and mass-production transition execution, including DFM/DFA reviews, process validation, pilot build support, cut-in planning, and readiness sign-off for new AI rack platforms such as Nvidia Vera Rubin and AMD Helios.
  • Oversee equipment, tooling, and facility readiness activities, including fixture/jig design, heavy-lift equipment procurement, preventative maintenance programs, liquid cooling (DLC/CDU) installation, and shop floor layout optimization.
  • Manage manufacturing documentation and standardization priorities, including Assembly SOPs, Work Instructions, Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), and Product/Packaging Specifications.
  • Drive manufacturing KPI improvement, risk mitigation, escalation management, continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma), and team development across Mechanical, Maintenance, and Product Engineers.
