About The Position

Summary: The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will work with the operations departments to improve efficiency, quality, and eliminate waste in the manufacturing process. PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES: Support High profile 80 In-lining projects including: process mapping, time studies, Flow analysis, line balancing, production line/equipment design, justification, installation, and verification. Support daily manufacturing operations activities such as: Routing, Costing, Root cause corrective action, 5S, and continuous improvement. Support KPI improvement initiatives such as: Labor utilization, efficiency optimization and Rework reduction. What We Are Looking For MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Currently enrolled with a minimum of two years completed towards degree. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Desire to obtain a career in Manufacturing Operations after graduation. Passion for manufacturing process design, verification, optimization, and continuous improvement. Great communication skills, collaborative, enjoy a team setting.
