About The Position

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. The Manufacturing Engineering Change Administrator is responsible for managing and executing the engineering change and new product introduction (NPI) processes within the manufacturing system in an accurate and efficient manner. This role ensures effective materials management by maintaining the manufacturing part master throughout the product lifecycle and ensuring alignment between design intent and manufacturing execution.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree in a related field or the equivalent educational background and/or relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering related environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
  • Basic knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems
  • Basic blueprint reading knowledge
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the global ERP item master and bills of material to ensure alignment with approved engineering documentation and adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Review and assess engineering documentation during release, change, and obsolescence stages to ensure accurate and timely implementation.
  • Apply configuration management practices to maintain alignment between as ordered, as designed, and as built states.
  • Synchronize item master attributes across multiple organizations.
  • Research and respond to inquiries related to saleable product changes and update systems accordingly.
  • Investigate and resolve item master and bill of material discrepancies based on documented user requirements.
  • Ensure ongoing product data synchronization across applicable systems and enhancements within the global item master and bill of material databases.
  • Identify, monitor, and maintain items with no active where used, expired spares life, or low sales volume.
  • Coordinate engineering changes, new product introductions, and product lifecycle updates with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Pricing, and Cost Accounting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve change control and product data management processes.
