The Manufacturing Engineer I supports production by improving processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring product quality. This role helps develop and implement manufacturing solutions across various products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience (LFA industry preferred)
- Basic knowledge of assembly, testing, and material handling processes
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus
- Power BI preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing manufacturing processes, tools, and fixtures
- Help identify and resolve production issues, defects, and assembly challenges
- Conduct time studies and process analysis to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
- Use Power BI to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights
- Track and report key metrics such as throughput, efficiency, downtime, and quality
- Support continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methods
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Assist in selecting and qualifying new equipment and technologies
- Perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions
