Manufacturing Engineer
About The Position
The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and manage small to medium-sized projects, prepare budgets and timelines, and make recommendations for capital budget and research projects. This role involves formulating corrective actions based on testing and research, recommending and implementing design or process changes, and researching new manufacturing processes and equipment. The engineer will also develop, set up, and test new equipment and processes, utilize computer software for reporting, and maintain relationships with outside suppliers. Additionally, this position will involve training Associate Engineers, Manufacturing Specialists, and Technicians, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in the applied technical area.
- Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

- Knowledge of AX operating system a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage small to medium size projects and their reporting.
- Prepare budgets and timelines for assigned projects.
- Assemble meetings on assigned projects.
- Make recommendations on capital budget projects and research projects.
- Formulate corrective action reports based on testing and research.
- Recommend and implement design and/or process changes.
- Research new processes, operations, and manufacturing equipment.
- Develop, set-up, and test new equipment and processes.
- Use computer and necessary software to write reports.
- Develop spreadsheets, charts, tables, and graphs to support reports.
- Maintain contact and working relations with outside suppliers.
- Help train and instruct Associate Engineers, Manufacturing Specialists, and Technicians.
- Perform any other duties related in nature which may be assigned.
