Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, required.
5+ years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience with 3D modelling software and processes (SolidWorks preferred)
Knowledge of engineering design and drawings, as well as manufacturing and assembly processes and techniques
Experience with production or operations procedures and structured problem-solving techniques.

Nice To Haves

A background in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
Knowledge of part fabrication techniques such as casting, molding, and machining, and typical materials.

Responsibilities

Drive sustainment of manufacturing and identify opportunities to improve quality.
Maintain production lines to support on-time delivery goals.
Work with quality and suppliers to identify root causes of component failures and implement countermeasures.
Develop production cell layouts, fixturing, and standard work for new production lines.
Partner with new product development and line engineering teams to qualify new and revised parts.
