Increase company profitability and improve employee working conditions by studying, recommending and implementing changes to existing and new manufacturing processes. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth production, developing and implementing process improvements for Just-In-Time manufacturing and Total Quality Control, and assisting in cost analysis and supplier selection. The Manufacturing Engineer will research operational opportunities, advise management on potential issues and improvements, and contribute to other projects as requested. Compliance with TS16949 Standards, OHSA, and ISO 14001 is required. The position also includes participation in Kaizen Team and GEAR activities, providing engineering support on the production floor for safety, ergonomics, methods improvement, and equipment fabrication, and addressing manufacturing problems to improve productivity, reduce costs, and minimize downtime and rejects.
