This Role: Our team is looking for Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite at our Huntsville, AL production facility. This is a full time, in-person role reporting to plant leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the HVAC or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Current work authorization in the U.S. without requiring future visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for the production of HVAC systems and components.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to transition new HVAC products from prototype to full-scale production.
  • Specify, design, and procure manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures to support production needs.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality HVAC products.
  • Apply lean manufacturing and Industrial Engineering principles to eliminate waste, improve production efficiency, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and maintain production flow.
  • Collect and analyze production data to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry regulations, environmental requirements, and safety standards.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to production staff on new equipment, processes, and procedures.
