About The Position
Decimal Engineering is a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing facility specializing in CNC machining and custom sheet metal fabrication. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, enhance production efficiency, and ensure the highest quality standards. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You’ll collaborate with production teams to solve technical challenges and improve workflow.
Requirements
- 0-1 years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Understanding of machining, sheet metal fabrication, and production processes
- Proficiency in CAD software: SolidWorks (required)
- ERP/MRP software experience
- Lean Manufacturing & Process Improvement experience
- Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication & teamwork abilities

- Experience in designing tooling, fixtures, and workholding solutions
Responsibilities
- Design and improve manufacturing processes for precision machining and sheet metal fabrication.
- Create custom fixtures, tooling, and work instructions to enhance production efficiency.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes align with AS9100, ISO 9001, and GD&T standards.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and process enhancements.
- Work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to resolve production issues.
- Assist in developing manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
