The Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems business is a trusted provider of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technology and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and navies around the world. DRS Marlo Coil manufactures durable heat transfer, refrigeration, and air handling equipment serving industrial, commercial, utility, and marine sectors. Our custom-engineered heat transfer solutions are designed to cool, heat, and dehumidify air streams for both process applications and building comfort. Our equipment is proudly installed on most U.S. Navy surface combatant ships and submarines. Additionally, DRS Marlo Coil is strategically positioned for substantial growth in the Industrial and Commercial markets.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field and 0+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
Specialties may include manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, and robotics
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Apply basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation in support of manufacturing operations
May prepare plans, conduct support studies, provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations
Responsibilities are limited in scope
Follow standard practices/procedures in analyzing situations or data
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Involved in the development of manufacturing process plans, test requirements, and manufacturing flow, and capacity plans.
Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility.
