About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer plans, develops, and coordinates manufacturing processes. This role involves developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods by utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and components, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. The engineer will also analyze and plan production equipment utilization, and confer with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Additionally, the role requires coordinating with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of materials or parts, and evaluating products/fixtures according to specifications and quality standards. Setting machine sequence set-up and cycle times for the manufacture of parts to customer requirements, and using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software for parametric modeling, simulation, analysis, and product documentation are also key aspects of this position. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Programming software experience
  • CAD experience
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
