Manufacturing Engineer
About The Position
The Manufacturing Engineer will plan, design, and integrate tooling, fixtures, and equipment into the manufacturing process. This role also assists in ongoing improvements directly and indirectly related to the manufacturing process. The position requires research and analysis of methods needed to manufacture products according to customer requirements and specifications, and to aid in the design of necessary tooling, jigs, fixtures, and dies. The engineer will also provide sketches, prints, or drawings to the design department, assist supervisors and operators with quality and process improvements, and liaise with maintenance for installations and troubleshooting. Additionally, the role involves researching methods to reduce time and material costs, implementing cost reduction programs, obtaining quotations for equipment, and providing information for documentation of current processes. Requirements
- High level of proficiency using spreadsheet applications such as Excel, including the use of pivot.

Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and integrate tooling, fixtures, and equipment into the manufacturing process.
- Assist in ongoing improvement directly and indirectly related to the manufacturing process.
- Research and analyze methods required to manufacture product to the customers' requirements and specifications.
- Aid in the design of tooling, jigs, fixtures, dies and support equipment required to manufacture product to customer requirements and specifications.
- Provide sketches prints or drawings to design department required to produce tooling, jigs, fixtures, dies and support equipment needed by tool production department.
- Assist supervisors and operators on improving quality and process capabilities of product.
- Liaise with maintenance for new installations, modification and major trouble shooting difficulties.
- Research and analyze methods of reducing time and material cost required to manufacture product.
- Implement cost reduction programs mandated by customers and or management.
- Obtain quotations on equipment, machinery and apparatus required for process improvements and enhancements.
- Provide information for written detailed instructions to document control on current processes.
- Performs other essential duties as assigned.
