About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer plans, develops, and coordinates manufacturing processes. This role involves developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods by utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and components, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. The engineer will also analyze and plan production equipment utilization, confer with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods, and coordinate with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of materials or parts. Additionally, they will evaluate products/fixtures according to specifications and quality standards, and set machine sequence set-up and cycle times for the manufacture of parts to customer requirements. The use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software for parametric modeling, simulation, analysis, and product documentation is also a key part of this role. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Programming software experience
  • CAD experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 years of related experience
  • SolidWorks / ESPRIT experience

Responsibilities
