  • Design, develop, test, and/or source tools, fixtures, machinery, and equipment to support optimized manufacturing methods, including cost justification.
  • Analyze manufacturing data (e.g., First Pass Yield (FPY), takt time, downtime) to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement project tracking methods, including budgets, progress reporting, and cross-functional updates to keep leadership informed.
  • Lead the research, design, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and equipment utilization.
  • Create, standardize, and maintain work instructions and assembly documentation, including digital and electrical documentation systems.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to implement and sustain 5S and workplace organization standards across assigned areas.
  • Promote and enhance ergonomic best practices to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Coordinate new product introductions (NPI) and product changes, including tooling, training, goal setting, and performance evaluation.
