In this role, you’ll be a key player in elevating our operations—optimizing processes, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and shaping the future of our manufacturing strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered)
- 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally with custom-engineered products
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies
- Willingness to travel as needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience in biotech, chemical manufacturing, or complex process equipment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across the site, Identify, prioritize, and execute opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs, Drive both local and global CI projects that deliver measurable value.
- Be a Problem Solver: Investigate and resolve process, product, and tooling issues, Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions, Optimize workflows, layouts, and equipment utilization to improve performance.
- Collaborate & Influence: Partner with the Manufacturing Manager and cross-functional teams, Train and support teams in Lean tools, Kaizen events, and best practices, Communicate process updates and ensure smooth adoption of improvements.
- Enhance Operations: Recommend and support capital equipment investments, Ensure new and existing processes incorporate Lean principles, Audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Support Quality & Growth: Participate in supplier qualification audits, Contribute to safety and quality programs, Take on special projects and assignments that drive business success.
