About The Position

Schatz Bearing Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for their Poughkeepsie, NY location. This role involves ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes, with a focus on bearing manufacturing and potentially the aerospace industry.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
• Ability to communicate at a high level, both written and verbal
• Advanced computer skills
• Ability to develop, create and follow quality operating procedures, work instructions, documentation or training courses as necessary
• Problem solving techniques and ability to work as part of a team or independently

Nice To Haves

• Experience in bearing manufacturing
• Experience in the aerospace industry
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or other modeling software)
• Formal training or advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques
• ISO/AS9100 Quality Management System compliance
