About The Position

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which provides manufacturing and supply chain support across Blue Origin facilities. The Manufacturing Engineer applies engineering methods to design, develop, and implement manufacturing and production processes for efficient and economical production of aerospace products. The role integrates design requirements into processes and procedures, develops manufacturing methods, tooling, equipment, facilities, and systems, and helps turn raw materials into finished products that meet design and system requirements. It also provides guidance to design engineering on technical specifications and ensures production processes comply with contract specifications and applicable regulations. The engineer will lead the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems, maintain quality throughout production, and optimize production operations and supply-chain logistics. Working with cross-functional teams, the role supports cost reduction, faster production timelines, and improved manufacturing methods, including application of emerging AI technologies. The position is on the Engines manufacturing team in Huntsville, Alabama, which produces BE-4 and BE-3U engines for the New Glenn vehicle. Multiple positions are available; relocation is available and travel is expected up to 10%.
