About The Position

The client is located in the Hudson, MA area and has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer. This role involves working as a Manufacturing Engineer for a client in the custom machinery industry. The position is responsible for the evaluation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure product quality. This is a contract-to-hire role with a long-term need for the client. The role must be worked on-site.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred - open to equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience with manufacturing engineering
• Understanding of processes, machining, fabrication etc.
• Experience working in a custom machinery manufacturing environment
• Understanding of Lean principles
• Understanding of contracts, technical specifications and engineering drawings
• MS office experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MIL standards preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure product quality
• Work with internal teams to support new product introductions, process development and ongoing production
• Manage project timelines and budgets
• Conduct risk analysis, lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
