We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and hold a 4-year degree in Engineering or a related field. This role is responsible for improving manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing workflows, equipment layouts, and process documentation.
  • Design and implement fixtures, tooling, gauges, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and design engineers, to optimize operations.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for defects and non-conformance issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and machinery to improve manufacturing capabilities.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Train production staff on best practices and new procedures.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on manufacturing performance.
  • Assist in feasibility studies and implementing process or manufacturing improvements.
  • Prepare basic analysis regarding overall quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Create necessary documentation and aid in communication to personnel.
