About The Position

Works with a team in an aerospace manufacturing office and plant. Degreed Engineer or equivalent experience with an emphasis in manufacturing processes. This position is very hands-on. A background in CNC machining or toolmaking is preferred. Full-time, day-shift position.

Requirements

• Applicant must be a U.S. Person
• 5 years’ experience as a manufacturing engineer
• Knowledge of GD&T preferred
• Experience as a Toolmaker or CNC Machinist
• Creative and critical thinker
• Applicant must be knowledgeable and experienced in … Metal cutting mechanics, Vibration and chatter analysis, Machining process modeling

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize manufacturing process options for CNC machining of complex structural aircraft parts
• Develop machining sequence plans and conceptual fixture designs for efficient machining of aluminum, titanium and stainless steel structural aircraft parts
• Perform research, design and development of manufacturing process including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment
• Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products
• Work on, manage and lead several large projects simultaneously from start to finish
