About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer Technician supports manufacturing engineers in the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of manufacturing processes and equipment. This hands-on role helps ensure smooth manufacturing operations, with a focus on equipment setup and process troubleshooting. The technician works with engineering, production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams; supports production personnel; and assists with testing and validation of processes and equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree, trade school degree, vocational school degree, or equivalent education and experience as determined by management.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools and technologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Ability to deal with internal customers tactfully and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, programming, and calibrating manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Ensure equipment is correctly configured to meet production specifications and safety standards.
• Work with manufacturing engineers, production teams, quality assurance, and maintenance to support smooth operations.
• Communicate with team members to address technical issues and coordinate tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and help ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in safety training and help maintain a safe workplace.
• Provide technical support to production staff, including assistance with equipment operation and technical issues.
• Train production personnel on proper equipment use and manufacturing processes.
• Assist with testing and validation of new manufacturing processes or equipment.
• Ensure processes and equipment meet required safety and quality standards.
• Suggest process improvements and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to explore and implement manufacturing solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
